ThetaScout is a covered call screening tool that provides options intelligence and analysis. We are a screening tool, not a broker, and do not execute trades on your behalf.

3. Not Financial Advice

IMPORTANT: ThetaScout is a screening tool, not investment advice. We do not provide personalized financial advice, recommendations, or endorsements. All investment decisions are your own responsibility.

Options trading involves significant risk of loss. You should only trade with capital you can afford to lose. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information during registration
  • Keep your password secure
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Not share your account with others

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute our data without permission
  • Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the service

6. Pricing and Payments

We offer both free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time, but refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

We strive to provide accurate data, but we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information. Market data may be delayed or contain errors. Always verify information with your broker before executing trades.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THETASCOUT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Iowa.
